The ErosionAnalyzer is used to predict erosion in pipes and bends. It is based on DNV-GL’s Recommended Practice DNVGL-RP-O501, which is much more advanced and accurate than the perhaps better known API RP 14E.
The ErosionAnalyzer can be used together with the FlowRegimeEngine for improved accuracy. The video below illustrates how it works.
